Dumpster rental in Aiken, SC starts at $285 for our 12-yard trailer. Each rental includes a 3-day period and one dump run - meaning delivery, pickup, and disposal are all covered in that base price. Base Pricing
All three of our trailer sizes are priced to cover a standard residential or light-commercial cleanup, with weight limits scaled to what each size is typically used for.

These base rates cover delivery, pickup, and disposal of weight up to the included limit. The base price is what it costs to get a trailer to you for 3 days with standard disposal included. Additional charges for weight overages, extra days, special materials, or swap-outs apply as described below.
Additional Charges
Beyond the base rate, certain situations result in additional charges. All applicable charges are explained upfront before you rent so you know what to expect.
- Extra rental days: $25 per additional day beyond the 3-day window. If your project runs long, just give us a call and we'll extend your rental.
- Excess weight: $50 per additional ton over the included weight limit. Dense materials can add up faster than expected - see the section below for details.
- Swap / dump-and-return: Base rate for that size minus 10%. A new 3-day rental period begins from the time of the swap. Swaps are available Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm only - not on Saturdays, Sundays, or outside those weekday hours.
- Mattresses: $10 each (Aiken County) or $25 each (outside Aiken County). Mattresses must be placed inside the dumpster.
- Tires: $10 each. Tires must be placed beside the dumpster, not inside it.
- Electronics: $10 each. Electronics must be placed beside the dumpster, not inside it.
- Large appliances: $25 each. Large appliances must be placed beside the dumpster, not inside it.
- A/C and HVAC units: $25 each. Must be placed beside the dumpster for separate refrigerant handling.
- Auto/marine batteries & propane cylinders: No fee. Place them beside the dumpster, not inside it.
- Household garbage, household trash, and municipal solid waste (MSW): prohibited - never accepted. Standard dumpster rentals are intended for junk, construction material, and renovation waste - not regular household garbage bags.

- Material weight: Dense materials - roofing shingles, concrete, tile, brick, and heavy construction debris - add up much faster than lighter material like wood, drywall, or furniture. A 17-yard trailer filled primarily with roofing shingles can exceed the included weight limit even if it doesn't look full. - Rental duration: The majority of residential cleanouts and smaller renovation projects fit comfortably within the 3-day window. Larger whole-home cleanouts or multi-phase renovation jobs may need an extra day or two. At $25 per day, extending is affordable if you need the time.
- Special materials: Mattresses, tires, electronics, and large appliances each carry modest additional fees when they're included in your load. These are straightforward charges tied to the disposal cost of those materials at the landfill or recycling facility.
How to Keep Your Cost Down
A little planning upfront is the most effective way to keep your total as close to the base rate as possible. Here are practical steps that help:
- Know what's prohibited before you load. Placing prohibited items - such as hazardous materials, paint, solvents, or lithium-ion and household batteries - can result in additional sorting or disposal fees. - Estimate your project weight honestly. If your project involves heavy materials, call us before you book. We can help you choose the right size and weight tier so you're not caught short at pickup.
- Stick to the 3-day window if possible. Plan your project so the bulk of your loading happens within the rental period. For home cleanouts, this usually means setting aside a full weekend and one additional day to complete the job.
- Combine work if you're doing multiple areas simultaneously. Rather than booking two smaller trailers at different times, consolidating your project into one rental - or a swap if needed - is typically more cost-effective than running two separate rental windows.
Swap-Outs
If your project fills the trailer before you are done, a swap (dump-and-return) is available at the base rate minus 10%, with a new 3-day rental period starting from the swap. Swaps run Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm only - not on weekends or outside those hours. Request one when you book, or call us when the trailer is getting full.
